Since 2020, I’ve been working as a full-time coach and content creator. I’ve helped over 500 trainees from all seniority levels get management consulting offers worldwide. If you’d like to have a 15-minute intro call to discuss how I can help you personally, feel free to book a time on our website. I’ll be more than happy to discuss how we can work together to get you the offer.
My Background
In total, I worked for around 6 years in management consulting. I started my career at Kearney in Istanbul, then moved to BCG, where I spent 4 years in the Istanbul and Dubai offices. Following this, I worked at a boutique firm in London, where I interviewed many candidates. In total, I’ve completed over 20 international projects across private equity, consumer, retail, and public sector practices. In terms of my education, I have an MPhil in Management from the University of Cambridge, and a BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick, where I organized workshops and case study groups to prepare for management consulting interviews.
My Approach
Having worked with over 500 people to date, I understand there’s no single approach to prep for case and fit interviews. With trainees who have enough time until their interviews, I typically support them over 6 to 8 weeks. We meet every 3 days or so, and in each meeting, we cover one topic. Since there are 10 topics in total, the likes of market entry, investment, and so on, we typically finish all topics in a month. After this, we work on refining their performance. I pick the most suitable case study based on my trainees’ improvement areas, say structuring or financial analysis. And until they get the offer, we keep working together. As we get closer to the interviews, I also support my trainees on the fit portion of the interview as well.
About one-third of my trainee base typically has only a couple of weeks until their interviews. In this case, we’ll follow a more intensive preparation plan.
Our meetings will last 75 minutes on average. In the first 15 minutes, I’d be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. It could be about your application strategy, a case you’ve done recently, or anything else about case or fit interviews. Following this, we’ll spend 60 minutes on a case study and discuss my detailed feedback.
To ensure my trainees make great progress, I limit the number of people I coach. So, if we work together, you will receive my continuous online and offline support to get you the offer.
Feel free to book an intro call so that I can get to know you better, and can tell you how I can best help you with your preparation.
What Our Trainees Say
Frequently Asked Questions
While case prep is the core focus, our coaches can also help with fit interviews (including McKinsey’s PEI), networking, application strategy, and other areas based on your needs. Just let your coach know what you’d like to achieve, and they will tailor the meetings accordingly.
This depends on your timeline. Most trainees achieve the best outcomes with 1–2 months of preparation. However, if your timeline is shorter, our coaches can intensify the preparation process. About half of Prepmatter trainees work with coaches for 2–3 weeks before their interviews, so we’re experienced in ramping up clients with tight deadlines.
