Lastly updated in March 2026, our BCG Consulting Career Assessment simulation reflects the structure of the current assessment. It includes all three sections candidates encounter in the test: Personality Test 1, Numerical Reasoning, and Personality Test 2. Personality Test 1
Complete the full set of 76 behavioural prompts where you rank statements based on how well they describe you at work. The questions are presented in a randomized order each time you take the test, allowing you to repeat the simulation while experiencing a different sequence of questions.

Numerical Reasoning
Practice with 5 full sets of numerical reasoning questions, each consisting of 8 questions with a 12-minute time limit, similar to the real assessment. The questions test several types of reasoning, including scheduling logic, time reallocation, quantitative reasoning, and visual pattern recognition. After completing each set, you’ll receive detailed answer explanations, so you can understand where you made mistakes and improve your performance next time.

Personality Test 2
A shorter behavioural assessment consisting of 15 questions, where you answer based on how colleagues or clients would likely perceive your professional behaviour. Just like in the first personality test, the questions are presented in a randomized order, allowing you to repeat the simulation and encounter different question sequences.

Performance Report
After completing the simulation, you’ll receive a detailed competency report summarizing your results across the traits assessed in the test, helping you better understand your profile and identify areas for improvement before taking the real assessment.
